We want to ensure you that we follow strict food safety policies with our small tight knit crew and honor your safety and your trust in us to feed you. Purchasing a CSA share is a great way to receive direct from the farm fresh food with minimal handling and contact.
Our Community Supported Agriculture program is an important link in our farm’s vision of connecting directly with our local community to cultivate relationships between our farm and your table. The boxes of organic produce vary with the growing season, so you can expect to experience the full range of fresh produce that makes each season so delicious.
Our Fall/Winter Distribution is no exception. We are offering a every other week 9 share distribution for this late fall winter session. The abundant share size and types of vegetables that are available in the winter have excellent storage ability and will be provided to you in excellent condition for use over the two-week period.
The Fall/Winter distribution is from November through February for $405. The dates for pickup and delivery in Anacortes will be on Wednesday: Nov. 4th, Nov. 18 th, Dec. 2nd, Dec. 16th, Dec. 30th, Jan. 13th, Jan. 27th, Feb. 10th, and February 24th. Pick up location will be at Janna’s house in old town Anacortes. We are also offering delivery within Anacortes for $8 per distribution. If you live on the outskirts of town we can verify if your address falls within our delivery area.
Pickup at the farm will be from 3-6 pm on Thursdays: Nov. 05, Nov. 19th, Dec. 3rd, Dec. 17th, Weds. Dec 30th, Jan 14th, Jan 28th, Feb. 11th, and February. 25th.
A new option we are offering this season is a vacation day. This allows you to pay for one less week with the intention of taking a week off during our Fall/Winter Distribution. You might choose this option if you see a distribution date that might conflict with time away. If you choose this option, please let us know as soon as possible the date you will be taking off at the latest within a week of taking the day off. If you end up not taking the day, we will allow you to buy your day back if you would like. We really would like to reserve this vacation option for those that are pretty certain they will have conflicting plans on one of the distribution dates.
Some of the items you might expect to see in the boxes are:
Carrots, Potatoes, Garlic, Brussels sprouts, Leeks, Winter squash, Parsnips, Cabbage, Turnips, Kohlrabi, Cabbage, Beets, Onions, Shallots, Radishes, Dried beans, Kale and other greens, We also plan to have cauliflower, broccoli, and salad greens*weather dependent.
The cost for the Fall/Winter CSA is $405. If you choose the delivery option, the cost is $477. For PayPal and bank card transactions, the cost is $417 ($489 if you choose delivery) which includes a $12 transaction processing fee that goes directly to PayPal or Square. If you would like to use the vacation offer, The cost of the share is $360, or $424 with Delivery. If you want to use bankcard or PayPal with the cost is $372 or $436 with delivery.
